WHAT IS “POLY” PAPER TECHNIQUE?
It is an easy project for an accent wall and a “creative” area to STAND OUT!! The accent wall space under the bar area can be exposed to shoes bumping the wall; while sitting on your bar stool. I have a cool “paper” technique; it will solve a dilemma and focus on amazing results for an accent wall feature!
It is a simple, easy and budget-friendly project, “hands-on” creativity and it is a huge impact on the space! It will be a custom look of glamour with AMAZING CHARM!
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS PROJECT:
*Minwax polyurethane clear coat – stain
FOLLOW MY TUTORIAL!
STEP ONE
Start with tearing
the construction paper into irregular shapes and crunch into a ball. Set all the crunched up paper to the side.
STEP TWO
Pour the polyurethane into the paint tray.
STEP THREE
Add your choice of stain tint. For this project Minwax Dark Walnut. Mix well.
STEP FOUR
Dip the crunched paper into the ploy mixture. Open paper and rub the paper lightly with fingers to coat with poly completely.
STEP FIVE
Apply wet paper to the wall area. Repeat this process and overlay the pieces randomly on the wall.
STEP SIX
Let dry overnight and the polyurethane will cure to a hardened coating.
