No-sew EASY Burlap Pillow Project

It’s a no-sew easy burlap pillow and it will drive you to a complete DIY frenzy! The BURLAP PILLOW is the NEW MUST HAVE pillow décor idea by adding a few crafty supplies to the face of the pillow.

The NO-SEW burlap pillow is sure to please!  At the local craft store pick up a few pieces of lace, tassels and jade, and in a snap you have instant decorating bliss!

There is no need to spend a bundle buying new pillows for the home when you can follow a DIY tutorial today. 

 

Supplies Needed:

Pillow insert size 18” x 18”

Burlap pillow cover size 18” x 18”

Lace, tassels, jade selections – 1 yard each

Fabric Glue

Scissors

THIS IS A NO FRILLS, NO-SEW DIY Pillow Project:

  1. The best thing about the project, the burlap pillow cover is a prepared cover. It includes a zipper for a finished pillow cover.  This is a no frills, NO-SEW pillow project.
  2. Next, decide the colors of the décor of the home and plan a trip to the local craft store to find the perfect selections. The pieces will be cut per the size of the pillow project.
  3. The burlap pillow cover is ready to decorate. It is an artist template and ready to create an unique design today!
  4. It will take a few minutes to gather the supplies and organize the layout of how to customize the pillow.
  5. To get started, cut each piece of lace to fit the length of the pillow and glue it in place. By gluing the lace, start from the bottom of the pillow and layering each piece up to the top of the pillow.
  6. Insert a piece of cardboard on the inside of the pillow to protect the back of the pillow from any glue that may leak through. Be careful and use one bead of glue and not over glue. Once the lace, jade and tassels have been applied, let it dry overnight.
  7. The next day, after the lace pieces are in place, it is ready to add the pillow insert.
